Taylor (Annabelle Stephenson) and Colby’s (Tim Franklin) relationship is well and truly over, with Taylor left contemplating her next steps while Colby begins a long sentence in prison. While she strolls along the beach, he enters the prison yard – on high alert for any potential trouble.
When Taylor and Angelo (Luke Jacobz) run into each other, they realise a lot remains to be said. They go to dinner, and Angelo advises her to visit Colby in prison. He says it’s the only way she can work out if she still has feelings for him.
Colby’s first visitor ends up being Taylor, and the pair process where they are now – Colby’s lies about Ross (Justin Rosniak) throughout their affair, his ulterior motives in getting close to her, and the long road he has ahead.
He advises Taylor to rebuild her marriage with Angelo if she can, and Taylor begins to realise they have to move apart on their separate paths. However, she doesn’t leave without noticing he has been beaten up by someone – and has a damaged lip.
She offers to use her connections to arrange protection for him, but Colby insists she shouldn’t involve herself with him anymore. He also tells her he’s got the situation managed, but is he telling the truth – and is he really safe enough on the inside?
