There are so many theories floating around out there about what happens to Peter Weber during The Bachelor season 24 finale. Maybe he ends up with one of his producers! Maybe he decides he’s not really into any of the women and ends up with Hannah Brown! Or maybe he’s sitting at home right now, sad and alone, just hoping someone like you will slide into his DMs! (Hey, a girl can dream, right?)
Well, there’s another Bachelor conspiracy theory out there right now, and it’s pretty juicy. Here’s the deal: According to the theory (which is total speculation, btw), Peter got a Bachelor contestant that he wasn’t going to pick in the end pregnant. There’s also another one that says that two people from the show might be pregnant (dang, Peter!).
There’s some stuff to suggest this ~might~ be true, in theory. Namely, Chris Harrison told ET that, “Peter and I, going through this together, had no idea this was happening and how this was going to all come to an end. It’s riveting, and it really is breathtaking and it’ll break your heart.” Peter also said that, “you can’t see this coming for a mile.” (Those are some pretty bold claims, so…)
There’s also the scene that’s been played a zillion times in Bachelor promos that appears to have been shot just before the final rose ceremony. In it, Peter receives news that’s so shocking, he has to lay down. Could it be a pregnancy announcement?! Is Pilot Pete about to be a daddy—maybe twice?!
While you debate the validity of this theory, watch Bachelor in Paradise alums Dylan and Hannah G. describe Peter’s ideal woman:
Eh, probably not. Peter recently did an interview with Access Hollywood where he semi-debunked some of the juiciest theories, including this one. When he was asked about the alleged pregnancy, he chimed in and said that he heard that two people might be pregnant.
“Whoa, like one is not enough? Okay! Let’s go with two,” he said. While Peter didn’t flat-out deny the theory, he also said that “people are really good at speculating.”
Bachelor spoilers god Reality Steve also wrote a blog post about this, calling the rumors “garbage.” He added: “No. No one is pregnant this season, it never happened, and it’s ridiculous to think it did.”
Also, there’s the timeline factor. If Peter actually did get someone pregnant in the Fantasy Suites (because there’s basically no opportunity for an intimate one-on-one before then), it’s highly unlikely they or Peter would have known that before he made his final choice two weeks later. That’s just basic biology, y’all.
Also, his final women have been regularly posting pics of themselves on Instagram, and no one appears to be three-plus months pregnant. So, yeah…this theory is pretty doubtful.
Still, Peter told Access Hollywood, “I can honestly say I’m happy right now.” Yay, Peter! Now, how did this all end?!
