The 24-year-old is said to have a net worth of $500,000, which is just over £400,000.

He has managed to amass such wealth from his dancing shows and multiple TV appearances.

AJ was born in England on 5 November 1994.

He began dancing competitively at age twelve and attended Pritchard’s Dance Academy.

His parents partnered him with Chloe Hewitt from their dance school.

Together, they have represented Britain in dance competitions around the world, and won the National Youth Latin Championships for three consecutive years between 2012 and 2014.

In 2015, AJ and Chloe also became the British Open Youth Latin Champions and the European Youth Latin Champions.

After joining Strictly in 2016, AJ returned for his second series in 2017. This time he was partnered up with The Saturdays star Mollie King, and the pair made it to week 12, being kicked out at the semi-final stage and finishing in fifth place overall.

Express.co.uk recently revealed how much Strictly professional dancers are paid.

According to insiders, the dancers are reportedly paid £30,000 each year.

However, more experienced professionals are said to earn around £35,000 per year for Strictly Come Dancing.

Former Strictly pro Ola Jordan said about her pay: “They all make a fortune.”

She added to The Mirror in 2014: “We get OK money. But compared to the judges? They sit one day a week and get a lot more than the dancers. Is that fair?”

Last year, AJ appeared on Celebrity MasterChef, which he would have been paid a considerable fee for.

The dancer’s younger brother Curtis isn’t far behind his brother either.

After appearing on this year’s Love Island – on which he made it to the finals with Maura Higgins – the dancer has landed some huge deals.

This week, he was announced he is Hits Radio’s official Strictly correspondent.

He joined Hits Radio Breakfast hosts Fleur East, Greg Burns and James Barr on the show via Skype, where he was officially invited to take on the his new role.

Curtis accepted the position and said: ”I would love to! Dancing is my background. Strictly, I love it. I’ve been on Dancing with the Stars in Ireland. I’ll give you all the best inside gossip, I know somebody who’s in the business!”

“I get to talk about AJ in a bad light!” he jokingly added about his famous brother.

The reality TV star has also landed another mega deal with Weight Watchers.

A source told The Sun: “Curtis is delighted with the deal and can’t wait to get started on the healthy recipes.”

AJ isn’t the only pro-dancer who has made a fortune from his stint on the BBC show.

Anton du Beke’s eye-watering fortune was recently revealed.

As one of the more seasoned dancers on the show, 53, could reportedly earn more than other professionals .
