Aldi is attracting hundreds of thousands of new customers every year with its range of exclusive brands, passing low operating costs on to customers in the form of low prices. Aldi is the UK’s lowest priced supermarket. Research released by Which? in July showed customers doing a full shop at Tesco will currently spend 23% more than they would for the same goods at Aldi. And those shopping at Sainsbury’s would have spent 30% more than at Aldi. It tracked the price of nearly 80 essential items at the UK’s eight biggest supermarkets throughout June 2020.

Ahead of National Burger Day on August 22, Aldi has revealed they will be launching a range of different burgers to suit everyone.

The supermarket has launched Specially Selected Halloumi Burgers for just £2.29 for a pack of two.

Aldi says: “The irresistible burgers are made with Cypriot halloumi cheese, coated in a light, crisp, golden batter, and go perfectly in a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce and a generous helping of sweet chilli jam.”

There is also a low-fat beef variety available in red pepper or sweet chilli.

The supermarket says: “If a low-fat alternative is your go-to, Aldi’s 5% Fat Beef Quarter Pounders (£2.99, pack of 4), available in Red Pepper or Sweet Chilli, is the one for you.

“Made with British Beef, sandwich your burger between a Seeded Dinner Roll, garnish with some crunchy Romaine Lettuce and lovingly coat your patty in as little or as much of the sauce as your heart desires.”

The Specially Selected Ultimate Burgers are made using prime cuts of British beef and blended with bone marrow.

On offer for just £2.69 for four, Aldi says: “this perfectly seasoned burger promises to bring a taste of fine dining to your dinner table, with a rich taste sensation in every bite – without the premium price tag. Layer with your favourite toppings, and pair with decadent sides, for the most indulgent of dine-in meals.”

The range of burgers is available in stores now.

Zoflora, one of Mrs Hinch’s favourite cleaning products has also hit the shelves in Aldi for a limited time.

On sale for just £1.99 each for 250ml, the scents include Twilight Garden and popular Summer Breeze.

Aldi says: “Step foot into a Twilight Garden as moonlight-flowering lilies dance with rich ylang-ylang and jasmine, perfectly balanced with uplifting notes of peach, apple and long-lasting musk for a beautiful ‘floriental’ scent.

“Let the sweet floral notes of Summer Breeze flow through your home. With classic English blooms of peony, freesia and rose, you can bring Summer inside, rain or shine!

“Like all of Zoflora’s products, Twilight Garden and Summer Breeze are multi-purpose concentrated disinfectants that boast an unrivalled 3 in 1 action, killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, helping to protect your family from harmful germs, whilst eliminating odours and bringing beautiful, long lasting fragrance to homes.”

Recently, one Aldi shopper took to Facebook to explain how she managed to save £48 on her weekly shop.

She wrote: “Somebody asked today when was the best time to get red sticker deals.

“According to this shop I’d say 3:50pm on a Sunday. Meals for a week and bbq for 12 people all sorted.”

The savvy shopper then shared a photo of all her bargains she managed to pick up which included chicken breast fillets, burgers as well as steak.

The woman explained that this was the best time to shop as most Aldi stores tend to shut at 4pm on Sunday meaning a lot of stock is reduced, especially if the sell by date is running out.
