Supermarket favourite Aldi is making sure that all their online customers will be well catered for with the arrival of Slush Puppie machines this weekend.

The budget chain will be selling the childhood favourite for £54.99, as part of the online-only specialbuys, which will be available on Aldi.co.uk from Sunday (May 9th).

With your purchase, you will get a one litre slush maker, a four-pack of syrups, and the well-known branded paper cups and straws – perfect for alfresco hosting as the weather hots up.

Who doesn't remember a time as a child, begging a parent for one of the tasty sweet drinks on a hot day during the school holidays?

The nostalgic machine allows users to create a fine or coarse slush, depending on your preference, and is great for whipping up adult only cocktails too. The slushy maker will be a welcomed treat to add to any summer garden parties or barbecues on the horizon.

You can even make the most of Aldi's new and exciting alcoholic beverages, part of the chain's new Spirits Festival, which includes a new Cherry Spiced Rum. Just add a splash into your slushy drink, and voila, you are summer ready. To find your nearest Aldi, you can search using the store locator here.

We also spotted Argos selling the same Slush Puppie machine for £59.99, while Amazon stocks a similar version for only £39.99. Studio.co.uk have dropped their price from £49.99 to £37.99, and B&M are selling theirs for just £35.

Shoppers have already left reviews about the product online, with one person saying: "This was a present for my son who's in this last year at uni.

"He's a big kid at heart. He said it was easy to put together even after a few beers."

While another posted: "Easy to use perfect for summer time."

For a little bit more nostalgia, however not going as far as our childhoods, Aldi customers are divided as it brings back mince pies to celebrate 'Junemas', for anyone who feels like they didn't get to celebrate Christmas 2020, due to the pandemic. Mince pies anyone?
