Build A Bear slashes the price of £17 Valentine’s bear to £10 – The Sun

YOU can show your other half how much you love them this Valentine's Day with a special cuddly toy from Build A Bear – and save cash in the process.

The toy shop has slashed the price of its Furever Love Bear by £7, meaning that it now costs £10 instead of £17.

The super soft toy is red all over and covered with white-shaped love hearts, leaving your partner in no doubt about your feelings towards them.

If you want to splash out more, you can personalise your bear by adding a sound or scent to it.

There is a whole array of sounds you can choose from to make your bear speak, including quotes from Frozen, Star Wars and even Disney songs.

You'll need to pay extra for them and prices vary depending on what you choose, although they can be anything from £2.50 to £6.

Alternatively, you can add your own recorded voice message for an extra £5.

You can also opt to choose extra accessories for your toy, such as a miniature bouquet of fake roses or a "be mine" wrist band for a fiver each.

The bear is actually a good deal – the best deal we could find for a similar sized bear was from Funkypigeon.com which costs £9.99 in the sale, although you won't be able to add any extra accessories.

You can save money by opting for the Build-A-Bear Buddies Huggable Hearts toy, which only costs £6 although it's half the size.

The Build A Bear discount is only available to online shoppers, so you'll need to factor in the delivery costs to your savings.

These start at £3.99 for standard delivery and ranges up to £7.99 for weekend delivery and £15 for international shipping.

Two years ago, Build-A-Bear held a "Pay your age" event where shoppers could buy a bear for £1 for every year of their age even if it wasn't their birthday month.

But the idea was so popular that some customers queued outside shops for nine hours and fights broke out among parents while they waited.
