  • Prince Charles, 72, arrived at Brixton’s NatWest Bank branch on Thursday
  • Met The Prince’s Trust Young Entrepreneurs who shared their success stories
  • Put on a dapper display in a pink-striped suit adorned with a poppy on the lapel

The Prince of Wales looked in high spirits as he met The Prince’s Trust Young Entrepreneurs at Brixton’s NatWest Bank branch on Thursday morning.

Charles, 72, put on a dapper display in a white crisp shirt and pin-striped grey suit adorned with a red poppy on his lapel as a symbol of remembrance.

During his visit, the royal could be seen sharing a joke with Keshia East – singer Fleur’s sister who showcased and shared her business success story after launching No Knot Co LTD, which manufactures hair tools and accessories for wavy, curly and coily hair types.

Later, he was seen beaming as she shook hands with independent health and social care consultant Jacqui Dyer MBE.

The organisation was founded in 1976 by the Prince of Wales and supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed, or pupils at school who are at risk of being excluded.

NatWest has donated to the Prince’s Trust since 1976 and been partnered formally with them for over twenty years.

The charity has helped 870,000 young people since it launched and supports over 100 more each day. Three in four of these young people move into work, training or education.

The royal is still actively involved in the charity and it’s work – and visited Cheryl’s Trust Centre, part of The Prince’s Trust charity which opened in the city in 2017, which helps vulnerable young people, on Tuesday.

He also keenly took part in visits to meet volunteers last year.

In February, Prince Charles was greeted by well-wishers who lined the streets before he strolled into a TK Maxx store on Tooting High Street to meet with Prince’s Trust alumni.

And on Valentine’s Day 2020 the royal hosted The Prince’s Trust Invest in Futures Gala, which is the largest fundraising event for the charity, in London.

Prince Charles rubbed shoulders with West End star Alexandra Burke, elegant in a black and white polka dot dress, as well as Chic’s Nile Rogers, who got the dance floor started with his energetic set.
