David Ginola is a former footballer who has also turned his hand to acting, modelling and reality TV. He is taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2021.

David began his career playing for clubs in his home country of France.

He signed with Toulon in 1985 and represented the club for three years before moving to RC Paris.

David stayed with the team for two years before moving to Brest, where he also played for two years.

He finished his time playing in France by signing with the country’s most successful club Paris Saint-Germain.

The football star stayed from 1992 to 1995 and scored an impressive 33 goals for the team.

It was in 1995 the 54-year-old made the move to the UK where he played for a number of large Premier League teams.

Footballers are well-known for their huge salaries and David was no different.

In 1995, David joined Newcastle United for a whopping £2.5million.

Two years later, he moved once again to join Tottenham Hotspurs in another £2.5million deal.

At the club, reports stated he was on a salary of £23,000 a week.

David contributed greatly to the team and was inducted to the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame in 2008.

He was part of the team from 1998 to 2000, where he moved to Aston Villa in a transfer deal of £3million.

David stayed with the group before moving to Everton in 2002, where he competed in just five games before retiring.

David’s retirement from the sport was not the end of his lucrative career, however.

While his exact fortune is not known, his net worth has been placed anywhere between £1million and £107million, according to Idol Net Worth.

The father-of-two added to his fortune by taking roles as an actor.

This included guest appearances in the ITV drama At Home with the Braithwaites and a role in the feature film The Last Drop.

He has also built his wealth with a number of advertising deals.

David has appeared in advertising campaigns for Morgan clothing company, and modelled on the catwalk for Cerruti.

He also had commercial deals with Braun, Ladbrokes, Renault cars and L’Oréal.

David will appear in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

His appearance fee has not been disclosed, however athletes who have previously appeared on the show, such as Ian Wright, Amir Khan, Harry Redknapp and Mo Farah, reportedly received £300,000 to £500,000.
