There’s no such thing as too big to troll.
DJ Diplo has proven as much — by apparently hacking the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram account. The 40-year-old record producer has so far posted four photos — including a and two videos to the brothers’ account, in addition to changing their profile picture to one of himself, and recording himself laughing on their Instagram story.
“Photoshoot with Kevin, Nick and Joe. Follow @diplo,” he captioned on photo, of himself, holding three Grammy awards, with the JoBros’ personal accounts tagged on each. The image has racked up nearly 500,000 likes as of Thursday morning.

Another post is a bizarre super cut of random viral images and the brothers’ faces, narrated by someone who is wheeze-laughing, and ending in a large explosion. The caption: “Tag a lonely friend and don’t say anything.”

“Never forget the original Jonas brothers,” reads one post of the Hanson brothers band. Plus, a photo of the Sprouse twins is captioned “The only Disney brothers who matter” in an Instagram story.

“Dude. Honestly it was funny for like a minute but who gave you the password?,” Joe Jonas messaged Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz.
This isn’t the first time the DJ has trolled the Jonas Brothers. In May, the 40-year-old live-streamed Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s surprise Las Vegas wedding ceremony. The stunt, Joe Jonas said, “ruined” the occasion — a statement for which he subsequently apologized.

In June, at the couple’s second wedding, the couple made sure Diplo didn’t do it again — by taking his phone. “This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony,” Diplo captioned a photo of him at the event.
While it’s funnier as a hack, the trolling is quite possibly promotional stunt for Diplo’s upcoming country album — which will feature the Jonas Brothers.
