Disneyland Paris reopens with a Marvel comics-inspired hotel

Disneyland Paris is now open for business.

The park reopened on June 17 after a seven-month closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After France’s first national lockdown, the park reopened briefly in July 2020 before a second lockdown forced it to close on Oct. 29, 2020. Now, with enhanced health and safety guidelines in place, it’s ready to welcome visitors back.

With the reopening of the park comes new attractions to enhance the magic like Cars Road Trip. It replaces the Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic attraction, and reimagines the space in the theme of the “Cars” movies.

On the ride, visitors will hop aboard trams and go on a road trip, passing by various “Cars”-themed billboards and statues. The main part of the attraction is Cars-tastrophe Canyon, where a giant Dinoco truck can be seen in a canyon as various catastrophes occur.
