Jill and Jinger Duggar have reacted to news of their brother Josh Duggar’s arrest this week on child pornography charges, years after they and two other sisters accused their eldest sibling of molestation.

“We just found out this information yesterday,” Jill and husband Derick Dillard told Us Weekly Friday. “It is very sad.”

Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo shared their statement via social media.

“While this case must go through the legal system, we want to make it clear that we absolutely condemn any form of child abuse and fully support the authorities and judicial process in their pursuit of justice.”

The 33-year-old Duggar — whose wife is pregnant with their seventh child — pleaded not guilty Friday afternoon in the Western District Court of Arkansas to one count each of receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography, stemming from internet activity in May 2019, according to the Department of Justice.

He was previously accused of sexually abusing five underage girls, including sisters Jill, 29, Jessa, 28, Jinger, 27, and Joy, 23, while he was a teenager.

Jinger was seen out and about with husband Jeremy shortly before the charges against Josh were revealed Friday afternoon.

Jill and husband Derek are no longer close to the Duggar clan, admitting, “there’s been some distancing there” during a YouTube Q&A session last year.

“We’re not on the best terms with some of my family. We’ve had some disagreements, but we’re working towards healing, definitely, and restoration — but we’re having to kind of just take some time and heal.”

The mother of two added that it has been “difficult,” but maintained she was hopeful.

“We’re doing what’s best for our family right now and just working through it, I guess,” she said. “We are praying and trusting God that like the timeline is His and what that looks like and everything. So we definitely appreciate your prayers, and we don’t want to go into detail.”
