Ex-model who faked depression for NHS nose job ‘signed off work due to trolls’

A former glamour model who said she faked depression for a £7,000 nose job on the NHS has reportedly been signed off work after comments by online trolls gave her anxiety.

Carla Bellucci, 37, has been signed off for seven weeks suffering from stress due to harsh comments on social media, according to reports.

The mum-of-three now reportedly spends her free time at the gym, has had her nails done and been on a trip to the hairdressers.

She is believed to be receiving sick pay but says she is not lying about her condition this time.

Carla, from Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, says she has been referred to see a counsellor.

Doctors notes seen by Fabulous Digital say Carla is 'not fit to work' because of 'stress and anxiety'.

She claimed she is going to keep taking what she's entitled to and has the right to 'use the system'.

Speaking to Fabulous , Carla said: "People are mean. I just admitted what I did. Now I have to take time off work."

She added: "I will not have anyone criticise me or slag me for being off work and going to the gym and posing up a storm on social media. I find it helps decrease my anxiety."

The mum admitted in the interview she'd faked depression but says she does have stress and anxiety – which she says was caused by the trolls.

Carla made headlines last month when she spoke out about the ordeal.

Appearing on This Morning, she told a shocked Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby she had "no regrets".

Carla claimed she "flirted" with a GP and lied about her mental health in order to get a small bump on her nose fixed.

She said her two-hour operation had been carried out in February at Chase Farm in Enfield.

Phil began by saying: "Wow. I mean, its a big thing to go public about something like this. You're going to be battered about this."

Carla insisted that she often got "battered" on social media anyway because of her glamour model career.

But Phil hit back, remarking: "It's very different when you freely admit that you milk the NHS."

"I'm going to say the truth," she said. "I lied but I do work. I was born here, I feel like I've not really done anything wrong."

"The NHS is not for cosmetic procedures," Holly insisted. "What was wrong with your nose before?"

Carla admitted that she wasn't too upset about her nose before but noticed that it was "slightly off-centre".

She was also probed on whether she was making it all up, to which Carla insisted that she wasn't but would do it all again if she could despite the angry reaction.

Fuming viewers flocked to Twitter to call for Carla to be "arrested for fraud".
