First Dates viewers were left reeling last night after one hopeful told his date he loved her and wanted to marry her – only for it to ultimately be revealed they didn’t see each other again.
Albert, 23, a builder from Essex met 25-year-old office manager Maria from London.
Maria said her type is ‘a bit of a lad’, who is nice to her but still a bit of a d***head’, and Albert seemed an ideal match, as he was described by the restaurant’s staff as ‘definitely a bad boy’.
The pair hit it off and Albert even declared his love for Maria before they left the restaurant to continue the night.
But when it was revealed that they didn’t meet up again, viewers were convinced he’d spun her a line in order to get his wicked way – although there’s no proof anything happened between the pair.
