A flight attendant has racked up almost a million views after attempting to ‘work from home’ – much to her husband’s dismay. 

Kristen Barker, from Canada, is currently one of the many millions of employees stuck at home during the global coronavirus-enforced lockdown.

However as her job isn’t a desk role, she is unable to perform her duties remotely – but she wasn’t about to let that stop her. 

The dedicated air stewardess has taken the internet by storm with a video showing her pointing out the exits in her apartment in full uniform, telling her confused comedian husband Wes to stow his laptop and wait in line for the bathroom and offering him hot towels and ‘duty free’ alcohol, in a tongue-in-cheek video which has garnered 800,000 views and hundreds of comments.

The video begins as she offers her husband, sitting on the couch, a welcome beverage’ before she  points out the ’emergency’ balcony door exit in the home. 

She then asks him to ‘stow’ his laptop for safety, before offering him ‘refreshing’ warm towels. 

Kristen goes onto offer him a snack, before telling him he has to ‘pay extra’ for the seat he is sitting in.

Much to his dismay he has to queue for the bathroom, arguing: ‘But it’s only us two living here!’, as she hits back with: ‘Please clear the area for safety reasons’.

She is seen selling him ‘duty free’ alcohol in a tongue-in-cheek video which has garnered 800,000 views and hundreds of comments

Wes is then offered his own alcohol from the ‘duty free’, protesting: ‘But I bought it – and this was a present!’, as Kristen responds: ‘So that’s a no then?’.

As he attempts to get up, she says: ‘Ah sorry sir the fasten seatbelt is on’, and he looks up to see a warning sticker has appeared on the ceiling. 

Kristen goes onto FaceTime him from the bedroom, complaining about her tough shift as he asks: ‘Why are you calling me from the other room, I’m trying to work!’.

Responding to the video, one viewer wrote: ‘My wife is a Flight Attendant, and she’s standing over my shoulder, watching and laughing her a** off. Love the eating salad by the lav scene!’.
