Former Love Island star Amy Hart went au natural when she took to the red carpet sporting extension-free hair for what she says is the “first time ever”.
Attending the Jersey Boys press night performance at London's Trafalgar Theatre, Amy, 29, ditched her usual lengthy locks for a mid-length style with tons of volume and bouncy curls.
The star took to her Instagram stories ahead of the event to give her followers a sneak peek at her much shorter ‘do.
“So tonight I’m doing my first red carpet with my natural hair,” Amy tells fans in the clip.
“I’ve never ever done a red carpet without my extensions in,” she admits. “I’m just hoping that if I spray it and zhuzh it, it’ll stay this big.”
It’s safe to say that Amy’s plan worked a treat, as pictures from the evening show her hair looking perfectly bouncy and salon-worthy. She had styled her golden blonde tresses in a side parting, with her curls falling just below her shoulders.
Her glam makeup for the night featured a warm smokey eye, a rouge-coloured lip and a flush of blusher across her cheeks, which complimented her complexion perfectly.
The star even went all out with her manicure too, sporting a full set of French tips with added diamanté gems on some of her nails.
Amy later jumped on her stories to ask fans if they preferred her hair longer or shorter – with the majority favouring her natural locks.
Amy featured on season five of ITV2’s Love Island, which aired back in 2019 and also featured the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Amber Gill and Lucie Donlan.
The former air hostess famously quit the show after she was dumped by co-star and professional dancer Curtis Pritchard in one of the show’s most dramatic storylines.
Since departing the villa, however, Amy has gone from strength to strength and has built up quite the following on social media – with over a million followers on Instagram.
Lately the star has been posting videos to her account detailing Love Island’s behind-the-scenes secrets, answering questions about secret recouplings, when the Islanders eat, and alcohol limits.
Amy reveals that the Islanders are only allowed two drinks a night, and in Casa Amor the contestants take part in a secret recoupling in the afternoon before returning to the main villa.
