Former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn moved into her forever home in November 2019 and has been sharing glimpses inside via her social media channels.
The TV star, who played Mandy Richardson on and off in the Channel 4 soap for 25 years since 1996 until she was dismissed this week, lives with her husband Jon Smith and their son Stanley, as well as their pug Ming-Ming.
Their stylish home boasts gorgeous parquet flooring, a spacious open-plan design, and a private gym for fitness fanatic Sarah, 40, who overhauled her body in a 12-week transformation back in 2018 before her wedding.
Sarah set up her own interiors Instagram page to document the makeover on her home, most recently showcasing her newly transformed garden.
The large space has been laid with turf to create a bright green area for their son to play on, she's also added a small tiled area to host an array of planters and chose to paint the fence black.
Elsewhere Sarah's modern country kitchen has been decorated with dark green tiles alongside cream fitted cabinets and a large black ceiling light, and they have a matching green velvet sofa to sit in front of the sliding doors.
Over in the living room, Sarah has opted for an off-white shade for the walls, with plans to decorate one side with a wallpaper design.
She shared a look at the impressive fringed chandelier style lampshade as well as a window framed golden arched mirror that leans against one wall.
One sofa is in a shade of deep royal blue velvet, which has coffee tables either side and matching lamps, while on the other side by the art deco style TV cabinet rests a solo blue armchair.
The green colour scheme also runs upstairs inside the couple's en-suite bathroom, which Sarah said is her "favourite room" in the house.
The soap star is yet to show off her bedroom giving just a glimpse at the huge mirrors she uses to take outfit selfies, but has given a peek at her son's impressive bed.
"The most beautiful bed for my boy from @littlelucywillow," Sarah wrote alongside a snap of her son posing next to a wooden bed adorned with his name and plenty of storage underneath for all his toys.
It hasn't all been smooth-sailing for Sarah and her husband, as she took to Instagram to reveal that the new build they had bought was wrought with problems.
She issued a warning to her followers "not to buy from @davidwilsonhomes" as they were having to do construction work and repair a damp patch in the bathroom despite it being a brand new property.
"AVOID @davidwilsonhomes_ Such poor quality, the ‘finish’ is dreadful," Sarah wrote in one caption and shared a clip of building work going on to remove one of the walls by their living room.
During lockdown the family were able to enjoy their home and Sarah also made the most of her fully-equipped gym.
Heading inside the space to work out, the actress was joined by her son and dog and joked: "Way too busy in the gym for me yesterday, struggled to get on any of the equipment."
This week, the actress parted ways with Hollyoaks following a disagreement about Sarah setting up an OnlyFans account.
Sarah has insisted her reasons for wanting to join the subscription site were to do with taking back control of her image.
