Lacey Turner celebrated her daughter's first birthday with a wonderful rainbow theme party that was filled with brightly coloured balloons, and their family and friends.

Adorable Dusty, who Lacey shares with husband Matt Kay, looked delighted to be having fun in the back garden of their stunning home as she splashed around in a mini paddling pool and played on a pink plastic rocking horse.

The EastEnders' star had also gifted her daughter an amazing mini Mercedes car for her to drive around in.

Sharing a sweet snap of Dusty grinning as she stood up in the mini cream convertible, Lacey shared a beautiful message about being her mum.

"Happy Birthday gorgeous girl! Thank you for making our days full of love & laughter ! May you always brighten up a room like a rainbow love you forever & ever my crazy funny beautiful baby."

The cream convertible wasn't the only gift Dusty received, she also had a mini kitchen complete with an oven, sink with rose gold taps, and a fridge that had its own ice dispenser.

She also had a tiny wicker pram as well as the rocking horse that Lacey said was from Dusty's grandfather.

The tot also sported a pretty birthday dress covered in a lemon print which the 32 year old actress said was from "Auntie Day Day".

Posting a cute snap of Dusty wearing a matching yellow bow in her hair while sat on the toy, Lacey wrote alongside a love heart emoji: "Thanks Auntie Day Day for my dress & and Thanks grandad for my rocker."

Elsewhere at the party, Lacey had decorated her home with the balloon display, which ran all the way inside their dining room and out on to the terrace area of her garden.

She had also set up a paddling pool for the kids to play in, sharing a sweet video of them splashing around as Dusty looked on.

The clip was set to Vampire Weekend's song 'Cousins', suggesting the kids joining in the fun were Lacey's niece and nephew.

While the party guestlist was kept relatively small, likely due to the coronavirus restrictions, Lacey's famous pals took to the comments to wish Dusty a happy birthday.

Along with a row of purple hearts Lacey's co-star Jessie Wallace wrote: "Happy birthday dusty violet!"

Strictly Come Dancing star Emma Barton wrote, "Happy Birthday Dusty!" while Emmerdale's Charley Webb added with a gold star, "HaPpY BiRtHdAy beautiful D"

Lacey, who is due to return to EastEnders as Stacey Slater following maternity leave, told OK! Magazine last year that she had suffered two miscarriages prior to her pregnancy with Daisy.

"I can’t wait to nurture our baby – we’ve dreamed of having a family for so long. When you've lost babies all you care about is the heartbeat – we've had about 12 scans.

"Speaking to other people about it helped me. Women shouldn't feel ashamed to talk about it as it happens to so many women."
