Miranda Lambert and Brendan Mcloughlin could be on the edge of divorce, but only if you believe unfounded rumors.
Country music superstar Miranda Lambert has used her love life to inspire some of her most popular songs. That’s because, unlike her music career, Miranda’s love life hasn’t been all that successful. That is, until recently.
Miranda secretly married Mcloughlin, a New York City police officer, and professes to be very happy in finally finding love. However, the tabloids have already been publishing articles saying the star’s marriage is in a downward spiral, even maybe, leading to divorce. Is there any truth to those claims?
Miranda Lambert has had a rocky road to love
Miranda has had her share of failed relationships. Most notably, her first marriage to singer Blake Shelton. The pair were married in 2011 much to the happiness of their mutual county music fans. They regularly shared the stage at country music events and continued careers playing to sold-out crowds. However, it is speculated that their relationship wasn’t as strong as it appeared in the press. Sources claim their careers kept the couple from spending much time with each other.
They announced their split to the public after four years of marriage. They told US Weekly that it simply was “not the future (they) envisioned,” their statement continued, “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.”
Lambert’s famous boyfriends
After her divorce from The Voice judge, Miranda went on to date some pretty famous musicians. She was seen only a few months after her divorce out and about with Anderson East whom she continued to date for two years. She and East dated from 2015 to 2018 before they finally decided to go their separate ways.
Very shortly after her split from East, she began dating Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours. Their relationship was tumultuous, at best, and extremely short-lived.

This is Miranda’s second marriage, and she has decided to keep it seriously low-key. In fact, we only found out about her wedding when she posted it on Instagram in honor of Valentine’s day. She mentions that her new husband, Brendan Mcloughlin, is #theone. In the photographs she shared with the world, the star certainly appears happy and in love. The photos are a romantic look into their wedding day where she wore a beautiful lace gown and held his hand as they strolled through farmland.
He’s already supporting her causes
Not long after her marriage announcement, Miranda continued to share snippets of her life via Instagram that included images with her new husband, Mcloughlin. She posted these photos of the cuddly cuties that she and Brendan are helping to rehome recently. It’s clear here, that husband Mcloughlin is at home with Miranda on her farm. Obviously, the two are still spending time together. Besides loving Miranda he also loves puppies. Seems like a match well made.
Is their marriage already on the rocks?
Shortly after Miranda announced her marriage on IG, People Magazine reported seeing the couple strolling hand in hand around Manhattan. They look about as in love as it gets, both sporting new wedding bands in photographs. Onlookers described the scene as looking like a happy date in the city. Doesn’t seem like Miranda’s marriage is on the rocks to us.
In fact, Gossip Cop looked into the couple’s relationship and reported back that everything with the pair is wonderful. A spokesperson from Lambert’s PR team told them that the report of their marriage dissolving is “completely made-up…Not one iota is true. They are happy and together!”
From the looks of things, we bet we can be expecting some sappy love songs from Miranda in the near future.
