Julia Louis-Dreyfus didn’t think she was attractive until her 30s

Julia Louis-Dreyfus always dazzles on the red carpet, but growing up, she never thought much of her appearance.

“I didn’t have a normal, beautiful look,” the “Veep” star, 59, told InStyle for the magazine’s March cover story. “I’m sort of, you know — big nose, massive head.”

After joking that she finally realized she was attractive “maybe, like, an hour ago,” Louis-Dreyfus added, “Honestly, I think it truly started to change in my 30s and 40s.”

The comedy icon’s beauty is certainly on full display in her shoot for the glossy; shot by Carter Smith, Louis-Dreyfus poses in an array of colorful designer prints, answering the phone in leopard-spotted Etro and balancing on a bed in a floral Marc Jacobs suit.

“I do love fashion,” the “Seinfeld” star, who gravitates toward classic gowns by Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera for big events, told the outlet.

“I also like to be comfortable. It’s nice to get dressed up for the red carpet, but when you get home, it’s also nice to take those clothes off and just wear comfortable s—t.”

No matter what she’s wearing, one thing’s for sure: “I feel very f—kable!,” Louis-Dreyfus exclaimed, referencing her much-loved “Inside Amy Schumer” sketch about aging actresses.
