Every year we look to Love Island to set those summer trends.

And aswe watched the new group of singletons pair off last night, we saw a whole host of perfect poolside looks just ready for us to recreate.

But one thing viewers weren't delighted to see was a whole lot of underboob from the female contestants.

Fans of the show jumped onto Twitter to share their views on this controversial trend – and whether or not they would be wearing it.

One fan tweeted saying “Why are underboob bikinis a thing? They're awful’

Whilst another followed with “Can we all agree that the true winner of Episode 1 of Love Island is underboob?”

Whilst we do agree that Islanders Faye Winter, Shannon Singh and Sharon Gaffka looked amazing, but this is one trend that is on the daring side.

And let’s face it, no one wants an unexpected nip slip whilst trying to win a guy over.

Another fan posted a funny tweet saying “You can tell I’m the wrong side of 25 cause if I tried one of them underboob bikinis I’d look like a kilogram of potatoes spilling out the bottom of an Asda plastic bag”.

As another commented “One thing I’ve never understood is how those underboob flashing bikinis seemingly defy gravity”.

We think it’s safe to say that it definitely takes a level of confidence to pull off these revealing looks.
