So far on Love Island, we have been given a glimpse of what the biggest fashion trends of the new series could be, from underboob bikinis to chic crossover tops, our wishlist seems to be ever-growing.
However, in the fifth episode that aired on Friday night, we saw the sight of not only one but two pairs of possibly the most controversial piece of footwear on the market and that is none other than the marmite of footwear, Crocs.
The culprits who were seen wearing these were none other than Faye Winter and new boy Chuggs Wallis, whose real name is Oliver George Lee Wallis.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the footwear as one person wrote: "Don’t know how I feel about Crocs trying to make a comeback on Love Island."
Whilst another followed with: "I’m really not one to comment on fashion but what’s with the crocs please."
We first saw Chuggs sporting the shoes in lilac and then as he and fellow new Islander Liam Reardon got talking to the girls, we saw Faye sit down sporting a white pair – could this mean that Crocs are finally going to become a must-have fashion essential?
Viewers still weren't convinced when they saw them for a second time as another Twitter user posted: "Did I miss the memo that crocs are back in fashion?"
As another said: "You guys… Chuggs is wearing crocs as he tries to chat the girls up."
If it couldn't get better another user said: "Faye and chuggs can have each other along with those damn crocs gosh".
One user even went on to post: "Can you get love island branded crocs with your name one you reckon?" and honestly, we might get on board if this does become a thing because who doesn't need more Love Island merchandise?
