If you’re feeling the heat, here’s a great celeb tip. A rather hot and bothered Megan McKenna reveals she’s found “heaven” in Cucumber Girls4Girls Kids Cooling Gel Eye Pads, £4.99 here, designed to soothe hot puffy eyes and deflate bags.

And that’s not all. Cooling eye pads like these also have rave reviews from hay fever sufferers, which is timely considering that the UK’s pollen levels are currently sky high, leaving many of us with sore eyes and streaming.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the formerEx On The BeachandTOWIEstar posted a clip showing fans her eye-cooling heatwave hack.

“I got these gel pads from Superdrug, and put them in the fridge,” she explained to her followers.

The star then proceeded to pop them over her eyes and under an eye mask in order to reduce visible puffiness.

The eye gels in question are super affordable, and act as a cold compress.

They also mimic the soothing effect of cucumber slices – except they can be used again and again. Consider them an investment, if you will.

It’s unclear as to why exactly Megan was using these pads, as she doesn’t say in the video, but with the heatwave we’ve been experiencing, it’s likely she simply wanted a cooling and de-puffing hit.

If you struggle from general morning eye puffiness, a quick five minutes wearing these chilled pads before you apply makeup will help reduce bags.

Megan isn’t the only fan of these particular gels. One five-star Superdrug review reads: “So relaxing to just pop these on and just close your eye[s]. I popped them into the fridge and used the next day.

“Definitely recommend to anyone who suffers with headaches, these really help with the pain.”

Megan often shares beauty tips like this one on her Instagram but she recently took a break from her general day-to-day posting to show a flashback snap to her teenage years before she began experimenting with lip fillers.

Although Megan has since had her lip filler dissolved, she’s recently revealed that she was once obsessive about the size of her lips.

"I would be going onto editing apps, still not happy, thinking I could make them look a bit bigger here and there. I did have body dysmorphia,” she explained during a Loose Women appearance.

Puffy eyes, filler, or no filler, we think Megan looks stunning at all times!
