You want to make an entrance when you’re taking to the stage, and Tulisa Contostavlos has shown exactly how to do it. The singer has just unveiled a jaw-dropping hair transformation for the N-Dubz tour, and all we can say is – we hope she’s got some extra-large bottles of shampoo and conditioner on her backstage rider.
The Number 1 singer has just unveiled an incredible new hairdo that’s literally doubled the length of her locks, as well as being a world away from her signature brunette shade. A total show-stopper all round, we think you’ll agree.
Last week, when the band performed in Manchester, Tulisa was photographed with her usual raven locks which weren’t exactly short to begin with, styled in soft waves that tumbled halfway down her back. However she’s clearly decided that her four-night stint at London’s 02 Arena calls for something particularly special – and we think she might have served up her greatest hair hit so far.
Taking to her Instagram, Tulisa posted a video showing her with brand-new ice-blonde hair falling in a super-sleek curtain right down to her bum. With subtle braiding detail woven into the ultra-straight lengths, we’re thinking “Kim K meets noughties Christina Aguilera”.
Tulisa herself was getting the retro vibes. “Brought back old school blonde TT for the @n_dubz tour. London 02 arena 2 down… 2 to go” she captioned the post. She didn't share any further details behind the look, but we think we're safe to assume it's a wig rather than a bleach and extensions job.
Her fans were soon going wild for the look, with many getting the Kardashian feels. “I had to double take that, thought it was Kim Kardasian,” one wrote, while another gasped, “The most beautiful girl walking the earth. No one can tell her otherwise.”
Celeb pal Chelsee Healey also chimed in with a love heart and an “unreal my girl”.
Beauty watchers won’t be surprised to hear that her latest look is from the king of A-list lengths,Carl Bembridge . The super-stylist shared a sneak peek of the makeover on his Instagram stories, following footage of him arriving at the iconic arena.
With only half of Tulisa’s face showing and the totally unexpected hair shade, you’d have been forgiven for Googling “Who is playing at the 02 tonight?” to figure out who it was.
Carl was clearly happy that his work hit the right note for the show, commenting “The baddest” on Tulisa’s post with a fire emoji. The singer quickly returned the love, writing “@carlbembridgehair looked absolutely beaut”.
Now all we need is for bandmate Dappy to whip off that signature hat and reveal an amazing new 'do of his own…
