Craig Conover really does have “Southern Charm.”
“Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo says that her new boyfriend is surprisingly thoughtful — and gives great gifts.
“He’s very ‘take charge,’ especially when it’s like activities to do,” she tells Page Six Style.
“One of our favorite things — this sounds so childish but we love it — is going to like an arcade. And it’s just different when you’re an adult and you can buy the tickets,” she says, adding that Conover keeps a list of things she talks about on his phone so he can surprise her with a perfectly thought-out gift or activity.
“For Christmas he got me this designer bag that I didn’t even know that he knew I wanted and it was such a great gift,” DeSorbo recalls, but she also said on another occasion he purchased a picnic set with a blanket, table, wine glasses and more after she casually mentioned wanting to dine al fresco more.
“I just thought that was really, really cute. And I actually think about that more than I think about the expensive bag,” she tells us. “Don’t get me wrong, I love the bag. But that was really thoughtful.”

So what does Craig have up his sleeve for Valentine’s Day? The pair are on the West Coast, where DeSorbo will be hosting an Instagram Live showcasing her favorite gifting picks available via the Shop feature on Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. ET. And Conover will be joining, as well as several other special guests, for a game of Truth or Sip.
Though she recommends tons of items from Hill House, Studs, Charlotte Tilbury and her favorite, Madhu chocolate, DeSorbo’s tips for the girls is to keep it simple and sweet.
“You know what, for how high maintenance I think that I am as a person, I’m not a huge Valentine’s Day person in terms of ‘Oh My God my boyfriend has to get me a gift.’ I feel like when you’re in a relationship, the girl is off the hook in terms of plans for Valentine’s Day. So I’m going to leave that up to Craig and see where we end up,” she explains.
