Two-bed bungalow on south coast with conservatory on sale for £350,000 but wait until you see the view at the front

A MODEST two-bedroom bungalow on the market for £350,000 looks like the perfect family home.

But beyond the spacious living area and bright conservatory there's a not-so-subtle surprise in the garden.

Bang smack in the middle of the front lawn is a whopping great big pylon.

It sits facing the front door and encroaches on the path leading to the entrance.

And while it leaves you with plenty of space out the back, the new owners will have to put up with a view of the metal structure from their beds.

It can be seen from both bedrooms in the house, as well as the entrance hall – and of course the front drive.

But if you can look beyond the hard-to-miss tower, the detached property in the quiet coastal village of Nursling, Hampshire, boasts several appealing features.

There is a roomy kitchen and an open-plan living-dining area leading on to a conservatory.

The house also comes with a garage and family bathroom, as well as a lawn at the back.

Estate agent Michael Rhodes describes the house as "well-presented" and well-located, but fails to mention the pylon.

Its Zoopa listing reads: "A well presented detached bungalow which is located in a popular area close to the golf course.

"Entrance hall, Lounge with log burner, modern kitchen, 2 beds, shower room, conservatory, garage, log store gas CH."

The ad was shared on Reddit, and house hunters couldn't believe what the current owners were asking.

Another said: "The seller is confidently predicting a pile-on."

While a third joked: "Plenty of space to hang your clothes to dry."

And a fourth wrote: "Aw jeez, this hertz just looking at it."
