Kitting out a kitchen is a seriously expensive part of renovating your home, but one clever money-saver managed to get a brand new LG fridge freezer without spending a single penny.
Danni Cross, 34, an executive assistant from Essex, applied to test and review a LG smart fridge freezer worth £908 after seeing the opportunity shared on LatestFreeStuff.co.uk, which shares the best freebies in the UK every day.
She was over the moon when she found out she had been chosen to review the mega appliance, and soon posted a picture of her freebie with the community forum, where she received nearly 1,000 likes and over 150 comments congratulating her.
‘The freebie was the choice between an LG Smart fridge freezer in silver or an American style, but that would not have fit in my kitchen so I chose the single option,’ said Danni, speaking to the freebie site.

Taking to social media, Danni penned: ‘My fridge freezer arrived today! Still cannot believe I got this free!’
‘Who wouldn’t want a new fridge freezer? We had a SMEG fridge previously which was some years old and was too small and although it looked pretty it didn’t serve its purpose, so this was a perfect tester to enter.’
‘Also, a fridge freezer is a lot of money and not money I’d generally have just after Christmas!’
To get the freebie, Danni had to answer some questions via a service called Home Tester Club, and she soon found out she had got the appliance. Unsurprisingly, she was over the moon.
‘The process involved answering about five questions and letting them know about where I lived and what fridge I would want,’ Danni explained.

‘I also had to agree to give them my mobile number. They emailed me on New Year’s Eve and it arrived yesterday.
