Meanwhile, her third eldest Chloe, celebrated turning 25, with Sue and Noel ferrying 13 of the youngest children out for the night with six of the eldest staying at home to celebrate in the newly refurbished garden.

‘Hot tub, treat it with respect. New garden furniture, be careful. As long as the police aren’t involved and the neighbours don’t complain, it’s okay,’ Dad Noel warns before leaving.

‘And listen, don’t go in the hot tub,’ mum Sue adds.

‘The new garden table is perfect for Beer Pong,’ Luke, 20, cheekily replies.

Popping a bottle of prosecco as soon as the parents left the house, the remaining Radfords and some of their friends, aged 18 to 25 start taking shots of vodka.

‘I’m getting hammered tonight,’ Daniel, 22, said.

‘That’s what I like to hear,’ older sister Chloe adds.

‘It’s very rare we get the house to ourselves as just us older ones,’ she says. ‘So when we do, we like to take advantage.’

After dark, the partying goes up a notch with the twenty-somethings using the hot tub as a dance podium, meaning the new £400 lid quickly collapses in.

WHO ARE THE RADFORD FAMILY?

Dubbed Britain’s largest family, the Radford family is made up of Sue and Noel Radford and their 22 children.

Sue and Noel’s most recent child is Heidie, who was born in April last year, with the others being Chris, 31, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five , Phoebe, four, Archie threeand Bonnie, one.

The couple met for the first time when Sue was seven, before going on to have their first child when Sue was 14 and Noel was 18.

They got married in 1993 when Sue turned 18, and went on to have nine children before Noel had a vasectomy – which he later had reversed.

Sadly Alfie, the couple’s 17th child, was stillborn on July 6th 2014.

Oldest siblings Chris, 31, and Sophie, 26, have moved out of the family home to start their own families.

Meanwhile, daughter Millie, 19, has now added to the brood with her daughter Ophelia, five months.

‘I’m absolutely dead when my parents come home,’ Daniel warns. ‘The one thing my mum said to do is not let anyone go near the hot tub, and the one thing that gets broken is the hot tub’.

As the hangovers kick in the next morning, the Radford kids start clearing up bottles and glass, before releasing burn marks on the new garden furniture as well as the caved in lid to the hot tub lid.

The mood quickly turns sour when Sue and Noel return to see their new garden centrepiece ruined.

‘That’s got to have taken some proper bouncing,’ Sue fumes. ‘I find that really disrespectful to go round to someone’s house and treat it like that. I’m not impressed at all. We’re not paying for that, it’s coming out of your pockets, not ours’.

The series was filmed over summer when lockdown rules were eased, but it’s not clear how many guests were at the party of it was a breach of rules at the time.

Elsewhere in the episode, Sue decides she’s had enough of housework and takes the day off, making her children clean up the mess instead.

Sue and Noel bought their house in 2004 for £240,000. With 22 kids living in the 10-bed former care home, they have done dozens of DIY projects to change the home over the years as different siblings grow up and share rooms.

With weeks of DIY disruption, Sue says she feels like she’s losing the battle to keep on top of the mountain of housework, with the constant mess created by the teenagers driving Sue to distraction.

‘With having so many children it’s been a big house, for me, everything being organised is key.

‘Recently, everything is upside down and it’s driving me crazy,’ she says.

‘What is it with teenagers getting dressed and changed a few times a day, and then putting their clothes in the wash when they’re not even dirty?

‘I’m definitely outnumbered with the teen because a lot of them in house. They’re just so lazy, they don’t to anything. They do nothing to help. I feel like Cinderella, at the minute I’m just really excited to go on out. Hopefully when I get back it will all be done,’ she adds, before leaving the house. ‘I resign. get me out of here,’ she goes on.

Elsewhere in the episode, Sue adds to their brood by getting a new French Bulldog puppy – their fifth dog – while Chloe and Noel have a bake off to decided which pies introduce new pies to their bakery, while Noel also gets a £6000 new pie oven.

‘Listen, your mum’s gone on strike. She’s got a one man picket line on,’ Noel tells the kids, before getting them to clean up’.

Sue also reveals that she does an incredible 40 tonnes of washing a year – and walks the equivalent of  going up and down Mount Everest three times by loading the washing from the kids’ bedrooms.

Sue and Noel also celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary, with Noel cooking Sue a romantic dinner, but it’s not long before their private meal is interrupted by their children.

The family have owned the Pie Shop since 1999, and has recently expanded to accept online orders made from around the UK. They fund their brood solely on the proceeds from the shop and their TV deals, and don’t rely on benefits.

Dad Noel runs the shop with Chloe and Daniel, 21, also helping out, while mum Sue stays at home to look after the younger kids.

Sue, Noel have children Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and 10-month-old Heidie all living under one roof. Oldest children Chris, 31, and Sophie, 27, have moved out.

Chris has a daughter and son of his own and Sophie is also a mother-of-three, while Millie’s daughter, six months, also lives in the family home.

Elsewhere in the series, Sue revealed she spends £400 a year on school uniforms for her nine school age children because ‘she doesn’t believe in hand-me-downs’ while the family also say they spend £400 a week on her food shop for the brood.

The family also eats 80 yoghurts a week, and goes through three tubes of toothpaste and 24 toilet rolls.

This series has also seen the family welcome their fifth grandchild, with Sue and Noel revealing they’ve spent more than £25,000 on prams over the years.
