This Is the Underwear I’m Living in While Working From Home

Mornings once spent crafting outfits that were equally weather and office-appropriate are now often spent rolling out of bed just minutes before the work day begins. While everyone is adopting their own method of dressing for self-isolation in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, previous fashion constructs have effectively gone out the window. From sweatpants to slip dresses, anything that makes you feel good and productive is fair game.

In a world where you can get away with wearing nothing but underwear to work, you’re going to want to make sure you’ve got the comfiest undies around. For me, that’s the Femme Boxer from Richer Poorer, which has quickly become a favoritie element in my casual #WFH looks.

The type of item you dread throwing in the hamper knowing full well you’ll have to wait until laundry day to wear it again, these boxer shorts are dangerously comfortable. They’re made of a comfortable blend of modal, cotton, and just a bit of spandex and are shrink-resistant so you can toss them in the washer and dryer without a second thought.

As the name suggests, they resemble a pair of men’s boxers and even have a faux snap detail on the front. Though, these have a snug fit and offer modest coverage with a mid-rise elastic waistband. They’re best worn on their own while lounging, but you could also wear them underneath a pair of baggy jeans.

I’ve taken to wearing them around my apartment with an oversized sweater while I work from home. They’re also perfect for sleeping in, especially when paired with one of the brand’s matching tops, like the popular Classic Bralette or the new High Cut Bralette.

I’m not the only one who can’t stop wearing these comfy boxer shorts. They’ve garnered plenty of five-star ratings from shoppers who agree that they make excellent loungewear.

“These are the best things that I have ever owned,” one reviewer wrote. “They are so comfortable, I never want to take them off… and I want them in every color.” My thoughts exactly.

Another said, “I purchased a 3-pack and want more,” adding that even though they’re comfy enough to lounge in around the house and wear to sleep, they’re also unexpectedly sexy.

While they’re a bit pricier than a standard pair of panties, their supreme comfort and effortlessly sexy style are worth the splurge, especially during this time when loungewear is the new black.
