Alton Towers’ season passes are currently cheaper than day tickets for 2020

Alton Towers Resort has everything you could want for a fun family day out.

There's CBeebies Land for younger tots, a water park, and of course heaps of adrenaline-inducing rollercoasters and rides for thrill-seekers.

However, theme parks aren't exactly known for being the most budget-friendly of places – but the good news is that for 2020 you could get more bang for your buck.

That's because at the moment you can get a whole season of fun at the theme park, while still paying less than the cost of a day ticket.

Currently you can buy season passes for 2020 from £53pp – which is cheaper than buying a ticket on the day, with gate prices from £58pp.

However, if you're only planning to visit the theme park for one day in 2020, it is worth noting that day tickets are still cheaper when booked in advance online, as prices start from £34pp .

The season pass sale will be running until Monday 6th January so you'll need to book by then – but the pass itself will work for the 2020 season.

There are also discounts included on Premium Season Passes from £70pp , which come with extra perks such as free car parking, and entry during key events such as Scarefest.

But the discounted passes aren't the only offer on during the sale.

Alton Towers is also currently offering up to 40% off overnight stays, if you book by the 31st January. That includes an overnight stay in a themed hotel, buffet breakfast, 9 holes of crazy golf and free car parking. (Theme park tickets aren't included but can be added on to the package).
