British Airways currently has ridiculously cheap return flights to New York

Always wanted to visit New York City, but been put off by the often sky high prices of getting there? Then you might want to check out British Airways' latest deals.

The airline is celebrating Valentine's Day with a host of discounted getaways for two, and the Big Apple is currently on the list.

In fact, you can currently bag return flights from £235pp to the City That Never Sleeps – when we took a look, the cheapest fares tended to be for travel between March through to May but there were still tempting deals to be found in later months.

For example, there were return flights from £252pp going for December, if you're looking to experience those classic New York Christmas experiences.

The good news is that it's not just the flights where you can find discounts.

British Airways has also slashed prices on heaps of holiday packages to the Big Apple, with New York breaks from £348pp which include both a hotel stay and return flights. The cheapest fares tend to be based on three-night breaks.

The cheap flights are already available to book on the British Airways website but you'll need to book by Friday 14th February when the sale ends.

Don't be disheartened if you can't make the British Airways deals work for you. There are plenty more ways to find cheap flights to New York- team that with a stay at one of New York's cheap hotels and you could find yourself with some extra budget to play around with for sightseeing!
