A WOMAN filmed herself removing the wheels from her suitcase to avoid having to pay extra luggage costs.
With every airline having different carry-on allowances, it's easy to buy a bag that's slightly too big.
With financial penalties awaiting any passengers that exceed the limits, some go to extreme lengths to make sure their cases will fit.
While some frustrated passengers have been filmed snapping off their suitcase wheels, one woman purchased a suitcase with detachable wheels.
Geeneza Vasquez, who is known as geenezavasquez on TikTok, uploaded a video showing her followers how she was easily able to remove the wheels from her bag.
A caption over the video read: "Seen this on TikTok, had to purchase. The Take Off suitcase is the best carry-on bag."

In the 30-second clip, Geeneza could be seen kneeling on the ground where she unscrewed the wheels from the bottom of her suitcase.
Once all the wheels were removed, she easily slotted the tiny pink bag into the luggage-size checker that's reserved for personal items.
The video has had more than 3.2 million views on the social media platform.
Many people thought that removing the wheels was too much effort, but others appreciated being able to wheel the bag through the airport.

Others weren't as impressed, a third commented: "This seems like so much more effort than just buying a slightly smaller suitcase, or using a backpack."
The woman was using a Take Off Luggage suitcase, which has removable wheels making it fit hand luggage requirements on most airlines.
But not every holidaymaker has a suitcase with detachable wheels.
Last year, one man was filmed snapping the wheels off his suitcases to avoid having to pay extra luggage costs.
Footage of the frustrated passengers was shared on Tiktok by user Anna (@annapalumbo91).
In the video, the travellers are seen stamping and pulling the wheels to remove them from their cases.
