Incredible new Jet2 promotion where the LOWEST bidder wins a holiday

BEING the biggest cheapskate in the room isn’t usually a good thing, but this month it could bag you a holiday.

Jet2holidays has launched a new campaign, offering holidaymakers the opportunity to bid for their next holiday, with the lowest unique bid buying a seven-night holiday.

To take part, customers need to do is visit Bid for a break | Jet2holidays, decide on the price they want to pay and place a bid.

If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will buy the holiday for that price.

There will be a new holiday available to bid on every week to places including the Balearics, Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Spain.

Bids will open at 9am on a Monday and can be placed until midday on the Thursday, before the lowest unique bid is announced on the same day.

Those that are unsuccessful will receive a £100 discount code for their next holiday.

The new campaign comes after Jet2 restarted flights and holidays to amber list destinations on July 19 – the date that children and double vaccinated Brits were allowed to return from amber countries without quarantining on return to England.

And there was another boost for Brit holidaymakers this week, after the government added even more countries to the UK's green list, and families were able to return from France without quarantining if they have been fully vaccinated.

The new rules, which were announced by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps last week, were enforced from 4am yesterday morning.

Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Norway and Romania are all on the green list from today, joining holiday favourites Malta, Madeira and Croatia.

While there are still some rules in place – Austria and Norway are yet to welcome Brits back yet – it is great news for holidaymakers wanting more choice for their next trip abroad.
