Ryanair's full list of holiday destinations it will fly to from May 17

RYANAIR is restarting their flight schedule to a number of destinationsfrom May 17.

Last week, the UK government confirmed that holidays abroad can go ahead from Monday, with 12 countries added to the green list.

This means quarantine-free holidays can go ahead, with Brits only required to have a negative Covid test before returning to the UK and one on day two.

However just four of the 12 green destinations are open to Brits, with Portugal and Gibraltar the only popular holiday destinations.

In response, Ryanair has added another 135,000 seats for Portugal with flights from £9.99.

The majority of Europe which includes Spain and Greece are on the amber list, which requires a 10-day quarantine at home, as well as two Covid tests on day two and day eight.

Ryanair has a number of green list and amber list destinations which are for sale from May 17.

According to the website, the green list destinations include:

  • Faro
  • Porto
  • Lisbon

For amber list destinations, Ryanair is flying to:

  • Athens
  • Berlin
  • Bucharest
  • Budapest
  • Dublin
  • Katowice
  • Kaunas
  • Lanzarote
  • Madrid
  • Malaga
  • Milan
  • Vienna
  • Wroclaw

The destinations may vary depending on the airport, with these destinations primarily flying from London Airports.

More routes will be launching from June, with the next green list updated expected from June 5:

  • Athens
  • Fuerteventura
  • Gran Canaria
  • Ibiza
  • Madrid
  • Rhodes
  • Santorini
  • Seville
  • Thessaloniki
  • Valencia

However, families should book with caution as the government has not yet confirmed if Greece and Spain will be added to the list.

While both countries are welcoming Brits back, both with vaccine passports or negative Covid tests, it is feared they may be left off the green list until July or August.

A slow vaccine rollout and high Covid cases has meant the majority of Europe may remain closed to British holidaymakers until the summer season.

TUI has revealed the 19 destinations they will be flying to from next week, to both green and amber countries.

They have also launched discounted Covid test kits, starting from just £20 for green destinations and £50 for amber destinations.
