Students disappointed by A-level results could bag a free trip around the world

A-levels results day is pretty stressful, but for students who don't get the results they were hoping for it can be quite an emotional day.

But an unlikely source is here to brighten up your day – Pot Noodles.

In fact, the brand is offering out FREE trips around the world for students who haven't got into their chosen university. Think everywhere from Japan to Jamaica.

It's ideal for those who are considering a gap year, or for whom the prospect of trying to apply through clearing doesn't quite appeal.

If you want to try and bag one of the trips, you'll need to call the 'Pot-line' on 0203 773 4878.

It will be open for calls until 4pm on Thursday 15th August.

When you're buzzed through, you'll speak with a Pot Noodle ambassador where you can share a short synopsis of why you'd love the opportunity to travel the world.

As part of your application you'll need to prove that you didn't get the results you needed for your university of choice.

Lena Portchmouth, Brand Manager at Pot Noodle, said: "At Pot Noodle, we’re always looking for ways to connect people with exciting new experiences – whether that be at university or beyond.

"While result’s day can often be joyous, there’s plenty of students who unfortunately might not secure a spot at the university of their choice.

"Pot Noodle is here to remind them that many life enriching opportunities can exist outside of the lecture hall. Life’s too short to be stuck behind a desk, going through the motions.

"Fork that! It’s time to grab life by the noodles and take a leap of faith."

The hotline comes as Pot Noodle has launched a new Asian Street Style range and looks to bring students a taste of the exciting experiences to be found in far flung corners of the world.
