Teachers can get free flights to anywhere in the world with Qatar Airways – here is how to claim, but you must be quick

TEACHERS can now blag themselves free flights to anywhere in the world, as well as 50 per cent off for a friend or family member.

Launched by Qatar Airways, the Thank You Teachers offer launched today, but you have to be quick.

The scheme ends on October 8, and there are just 21,000 tickets on offer, with a number issued per country, per day.

If successful, teachers will be given a complimentary economy class ticket to any destination on offer by Qatar Airways, as well as 50 per cent off a ticket which you can use yourself in the future, or for a friend or family member.

The flight must go through Doha, and can be used from October 20, 2020, toSeptember 30, 2021.

Flights from London Heathrow with Qatar Airways include the Maldives, Bali and a number of destinations in Australia.

Brits can also travel to Doha Airport which connects regions such as Thailand and Dubai.

The airline explains: "On the occasion of World Teachers' Day, we would like to thank all of the teachers around the world for their hard work and dedication to educating the world's students.

"Your commitment to delivering a high standard of education continues to inspire us during these uncertain times.

"To show our gratitude, we are offering complimentary flight tickets for 21,000 teachers to use this year, or to plan for a well-deserved holiday in 2021."

Key workers and NHS staff have been offered discounts and freebies during the pandemic as a thank you.

Uber Eats, B&M and Morrisons were just some of the brands who offered perks and freebies to staff.

Turkish Airlines also offered 40 per cent off tickets for NHS staff.
