As reported by the Mirror, Chelsea, who is known as chelsbadger on the social media platform, shared the clever way she bagged a whole plane row to herself.

And all you need to do is check the airline app before boarding.

In a video, she said: "I recently got a whole row to myself on a Qantas flight, and this is how I did it.

"Once you get to your gate, you're going to wait until it's about ten minutes before boarding. Then open up the Qantas app and click the seat selector tool.

"If there's a whole row free, or even if there's just a better seat, make a mental note of that seat number.

"You won't be able to select the new seat in the app as it's too close to boarding, so simply go up to the desk and politely ask to have it changed. It's so easy and I can't believe this worked!"

Chelsea clarified that this trick only works if the flight isn't fully booked.

That being said, she has used this tried and tested method a "few times" while flying with Qantas.

In a video Emmy showed how the seat next to her was covered in red tape and broken, which meant that she got a row of seats to herself.

She then showed off her glass of wine, as she had the whole row to herself while the rest of the plane looked busy.

These travel experts revealed their best tips for claiming more than one seat for yourself.

Another expert said to always book seats towards the back of the plane, as it is the place most people don't want to be so seats will sell last.
