A LUXURY hotel in Rhodes has been ranked the number one resort in Greece on Tripadvisor.
The review site listed the Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa as the best spot for holidaymakers with reviewers giving it full marks for cleanliness and service.
But it seems one popular Greek holiday destination hasn’t made it into the top ten.
The island of Corfu, a favourite among Brits, was missing from the list.
Instead, resorts in Crete, Santorini and Rhodes stole top prizes.
Here are TripAdvisor’s ten best resorts in Greece:

- Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa
It's no surprise that this lavish 5* resort on the sunny coast of Ialisos came out on top, with impressive views over the scenic cove of Ixia Bay and two massive swimming pools.
If you tire of the sandy beaches then you're only 3km from the city centre, home to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, The Colossus of Rhodes.
2. Creta Maris Beach Resort
Second place goes to the Creta Maris Beach Resort where guests can completely unwind in a therapeutic spa with specially-designed "spa cabins".
Bedrooms are as peaceful as the spa is, with ocean and village views and cool white furniture.
3. Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas
The Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas is the sister resort to Greece's number one hotel and it's equally as glam.
Near the picturesque village of Lindos, the resort has some top-notch traditional restaurants and two pool bars.
4. Mitsis Laguna Resort & Spa
Hotels don't get more luxurious than this.
On the sunny coast of Hersonissos in Crete, Mitsis Laguna Resort & Spa oozes sophistication from the regal gold headboards on the beds to the chandelier-like lampshades.
TripAdvisor visitors praised the service and the vast number of relaxing pools.
5. Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa
It's practically impossible to get bored when you're staying at the Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa in Rhodes.
There's a seawater outdoor swimming pool, water slides, a tennis court, beach volleyball, a water sports centre and games room.
The highlight, though, is definitely the spa with detoxifying treatments using natural elements from the ocean.
6. Stella Palace Resort & Spa
Stella Palace Resort & Spa made it into the top ten because of its fantastic family-friendly facilities, which includes a huge water park with splash pools, circular tubes and aqua towers.
Anyone up for an adventure can head to the nearby Analipsi canyon, enveloped by mighty craggy rocks.
7. Mitsis Grand Hotel Beach Hotel
The third Mitsis hotel to make it on to the list and with views that may surpass the other two, this hotel is shiny and modern on the inside but still feels very Grecian from the outside.
Guests can soak up the sun from two outdoor pools or venture into the medieval town of Rhodes, less than 3km away.
8. Kiani Beach Resort
Kiani Beach Resort really takes advantage of its impressive surroundings, especially in its restaurants.
