NOW is the time to book your flights if you're hoping to slash the cost of your getaway.
Several airlines have launched huge discounts for both city escapes and peak winter breaks.
Whether you're after a city break within Europe or thinking of splurging on a long-haul holiday, there's something for everyone as airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Emirates and Norwegian Airlines launch their sales.
Currently, fares are discounted across the entire Virgin Atlantic network, with prices starting from just £269pp.
Norwegian Air has also slashed prices of thousands of its flights.
The budget carrier is offering one way tickets for under £30 to Spain and under £200 to South America.
With that in mind, here's what you need to know about which airlines are having a sale right now:
Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays have launched their summer sale, including savings on worldwide destinations, flights and hotel packages.
Their sale is on from now until September 22 for Virgin Atlantic and September 30 for Virgin Holidays, so you've got plenty of time to bag a bargain.

One of their top offers is a week-long holiday at Universal Orlando Resort from £745pp.
The deal includes scheduled Virgin Atlantic flights from London Gatwick direct to Orlando leaving on January 25, 2020.
The price covers a family of four sharing a pool view room, with car hire as well as Universal Orlando Resort theme park tickets.
You can also spend three nights at the Row in New York from £489 – including flight from London Heathrow with a departure on January 14.
Looking for flights only? You can now book yourself a seat on Virgin Atlantic's highly anticipated Airbus A350-100.
With the aircraft commencing service on to routes to New York City, why not take advantage of return fares to JFK from £272.
There are also flight available to sunny Tel-Aviv with fares as low as £289.

Singapore Airlines
The Singapore Airlines sale is on until Monday September 16, 2019.
The carrier has launched special return fares from the UK to long-haul destinations including Bangkok, Phuket or Singapore.
Those interested in getting two holidays for the price of one can also make the most of the Singapore Stopover Holiday package by booking one night’s accommodation in Singapore on their way to or from their final destination – from as little as £1.
Bear in mind, you'll need to book by September 12 to take advantage of this offer.
Most deals are valid on flights until June 30 2020, so there's a generous travel window of dates on offer.

Emirates
The Emirates' flight sale is on until September 5 for travel between now and December 17, 2019, so you'll have to be quick.
The sale include popular destinations like Dubai, Mauritius or the Seychelles from £419.
So whether you're looking for beautiful beaches or a bustling city, there's something for everyone in the Emirates sale.
Norwegian Airlines
Norwegian currently has sales on its flights for travelling on selected dates between November 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020
The airline is offering one-way flights to the Canaries and Tenerife for under £40 and to Spain for under £30,
For long haul, it's offering flights to South America from just £199.90 one-way or to New York for £132.
The sale is only on until September 16 and you can book on their website.
