Becky G is officially engaged, and we just got our first glimpse of the ring. The musician and actor posted on Instagram on Dec. 9 to announce the news to her followers, sharing a romantic sunset selfie with her fiancé, longtime partner and soccer player Sebastian Lletget, and her massive diamond ring designed by The Clear Cut. Becky G kept her nails simple to ensure all the attention was on the spectacular oval-cut engagement ring, opting for an understated but classic french manicure in the third photo of the Instagram gallery. “Our spot forever ?,” the couple captioned the photos from the oceanfront proposal.
Against the vibrant background of the water, the tips of Becky G’s almond-shaped nails looked even softer than your typical french manicure and could almost be mistaken for a neutral-toned milk-bath manicure at first glance. Without any wild designs or harsh lines, Becky G proved yet again that minimalist nails are here to stay — especially when you have a sparkling diamond ring to wear them with. The ring in question is also fairly classic in its design, although this particular style seems to be trending among celebrities recently, with a timeless gold band and no additional stones.
