Billie Eilish is breaking into the beauty business. The superstar’s first fragrance, Eilish, is set to debut in November. “This is a scent that I’ve been chasing for years and years. This is my favorite smell in the world,” she writes on Instagram. Vogue reports that the scent is all about vanilla.
Eilish, who has synesthesia, told Vogue she has always been drawn to amber-colored scents. (Synesthesia is the ability to experience one of your senses through the other. In this case, Eilish can literally smell colors.) Her debut fragrance, a gourmand, plays on that theme with the inclusion of vanilla, cocoa, musk, amber, and warm spices. “It’s just very cozy to me and sensual,” Eilish tells ELLE.com. “It makes me want to be curled up at Christmas.”

The 19 year-old singer says she has always been drawn to scents and the impact they can have on memories. “Fragrance has always been such an enormous part of my life and existence since I can remember, and it was a dream to create this scent and bring my ideas to life,” she writes on Instagram. “This has been one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done. I can’t wait for it to be yours so soon!”
The bottle, a gorgeous metallic bust, looks more like a sculpture than something you’d expect from a celebrity perfume (though Kim Kardashian West’s Body fragrance does come to mind). It was inspired by Eilish’s favorite areas on the human body: the collarbone, neck, and back. Eilish told Vogue she didn’t want the bottle to depict a certain body type, since there’s beauty in them all.

What’s more, the scent is vegan (like Eilish herself), cruelty-free, and made with clean ingredients. Consider it the hottest item on any Gen Z Christmas list.
Eilish by Billie Eilish will launch for $68 in November on BillieEilishFragrances.com. Early access is available now on the site.
