Adam Levine was asked about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani during his latest interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1 bright and early Monday morning (March 29).
He was asked if he would be playing at their upcoming wedding, to which he jokingly responded, “They can’t afford me. No, they haven’t asked me yet … First of all, I was just texting with them. I love them so much. It’s just so funny you mentioned them, ’cause I just texted them 10 minutes ago, like, ‘I miss you guys. I love you guys.’ Yeah, they’re the best, dude. I would love to. I’d be honored.”
He added, “They won’t ask me though. They’ll probably get, like, Luke Bryan or somebody.”
If you don’t know, Adam and Blake worked together for years on The Voice and often publicly rib each other. In fact, Adam threw a little shade Blake’s way recently.
