Amy Childs reveals: ‘Having twins under one is full on – it can be tough’

It's been eight months since Amy Childs welcomed twins Amelia [Milly] and Billy with her fiancé Billy Delbosq, and while she's gotten into the swing of things, it's a full-on job.

The TOWIE star, 33, who is also mother to daughter Polly, six, and son Ritchie, five, from previous relationships, opened up to OK! this week about the challenges, and highs, of motherhood.

She explained: "I’m working long hours and have twins under one. They’re full on and it can be tough at times. " However, it seems the positives outweigh the negatives, with Amy adding: "But when I see their bond together, it's so lovely to watch."

As the festive season approaches, this Christmas will be Amy's first as a mother-of-four, with the whole family getting into the spirit.

Enjoying a getaway with the twins and Billy to the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, Amy shared a snap from the trip and captioned: "Christmas has officially started… A lovely evening away with my family at the most beautiful hotel".

However, the reality star admits her fear of the January blues after celebrating. She told us: "I always feel so rubbish once the Christmas celebrations are over, but next year will be exciting too."

While Amy isn't looking forward to the fun being over, it's an exciting year ahead, as she and Billy have been house hunting for a new family home – and recently shared that they had found their 'dream home'.

Sharing a selfie with her 1.1M Instagram followers, Amy wrote: "Saturday night!! My favourite [heart emoji]. Uploading the picture to her Stories, she added: "Twins are asleep already Me and Bill are kind of celebrating, we have found our dream home today, fingers crossed it all works out!! Hard work certainly pays off, me and [Bill] are manifesting, cheers to us."

Amy first met Business Owner Billy in 2021, who had previously appeared on First Dates, shortly after a two-year-relationship with ex-boyfriend Tim.

The duo are now engaged, with a 2024 wedding potentially on the cards, and a reality show going hand-in-hand. Speaking to OK! earlier this year, she explained: "I said [to Billy], 'Are you sure you want to marry me?' Jokes aside, we’re thinking maybe next year. I want my body back to looking good because we’ll hopefully film it."

"I’d love to do a wedding TV show. Harry [Amy’s cousin] and I met up straight away for a wedding dress try-on! But right now, we want to enjoy being engaged."
