Drake Now Has More Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s Than The Beatles

Drake has sailed past The Beatles to claim the second spot on the list of most top 10s in the Billboard Hot 100’s six-decade history.

With his new song “Money in the Grave,” featuring Rick Ross, debuting at No. 7 on the chart dated June 29, Drake now has 35 top 10s on the Billboard Hot 100, and is now second only to Madonna, who has 38 top 10s to her name.

The Beatles have 34 top 10s in the list.

Out of the total of 35 top 10s, Drake has 23 as a lead artist, including the latest hit “Money in the Grave.” Madonna and The Beatles are the lead artists on all their top 10s.

Drake’s first entry into the Billboard top 10 was with “Best I Ever Had,” which soared 27-3 on the chart dated July 4, 2009. The single then went on to hit No. 2.

While Madonna took 18 years to reach her record of 38 top 10s on the Hot 100 list, Drake has achieved his feat of 35 in less than a decade.

Drake now has a whopping 196 total Hot 100 entries, the most among soloists. Overall, this is the second-best, and is not far off from “Glee” cast’s 207 entries.
