Matt Hancock was ecstatic after he and his fellow campmates Mike Tindall and Seann Walsh won a cooked breakfast for the group on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! during Thursday’s episode.

The former Health Secretary, 44, celebrated with the rest of the camp after he was awarded the fry up with former rugby player Mike, 44, and comedian Seann, 36, after they took part in the nighttime Outback Factory challenge.

Arriving at the task area, they were told they’d have to work together to assemble various food items.

Winners: Matt Hancock was ecstatic after he and his fellow campmates Mike Tindall and Seann Walsh won a cooked breakfast for the group on I’m A Celebrity.

These would then go through a strict quality control process, with the trio having a maximum of three attempts to get them right.

This assembly included calling on them to pipe ‘Happy Birthday Kev’ on a cake, which was separated from them through a screen.

They were also told they had to make up hot dogs with the items separated from them via a screen and on a conveyor belt.

Looking forward to the challenge, sportsman Mike said: ‘This is going to be fun,’ before adding: ‘Turns out, it’s really hard in these gloves.’

After an attempt to pipe the cake, Mike admitted: ‘That’s impossible!’

Persevering, they passed the quality control and won breakfast for camp.

Returning to the jungle camp triumphant, Matt celebrated, telling the others: ‘Who is having a full English fry up tomorrow morning?’

Former footballer Jill Scott excitedly replied: ‘Really? Oh my god, well done.’

Radio DJ Chris Moyles asked: ‘Are we really?’

Mike told him: ‘Hash browns, eggs, bacon…’

MP for West Suffolk Matt told them of the challenge: ‘A tray came on a conveyor belt and while cockroaches were poured on our heads we had to prepare three dishes.’

Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, who has repeatedly spoken of his hunger thought his time on the show, woke up and heard the good news.

Matt told him: ‘We got every item – beans, tomatoes, hash brown and bread, bacon and eggs.’

Jill declared: ‘This is the best news ever! Well done!’

PHOBIAS: Spiders. There is no point in lying about it! I’ve got an irrational fear about them
