Love Island’s first love triangle emerges with Molly stuck in the middle

As the summer series of Love Island gets into full swing, the first love triangle has emerged with blonde bombshell Molly stuck in the middle.

Musical theatre performer Molly Marsh, 21, was chosen by the public to couple up with gas engineer Mitchel Taylor, 26, and the islander initially seemed pleased with the choice.

The pair seemed to have a similar sense of humour on the show and Molly was also excited about the couple having accidentally worn a matching red bikini with Mitchel's bright red shorts.

However, things might be about to take a turn as the sun was shining bright on day two in the Love Island villa when George decided to pull Molly for a chat to see where her head is at.

Having told the girls last night that she has a strong connection” with Mitchel, Molly goes on to tell George which other boys she’s keen to get to know a bit better.

George then admitted to Molly: “I do find you attractive, do you know what I mean? So I’d be interested to keep chatting to you.”

Time will tell if Molly's head will be turned.

Among the ten Islanders looking for love, aesthetics practitioner Jess Harding was matched with business development executive George Fensom.

Estate agent Catherine Agbaje was paired with business owner Andre Furtado Communications manager Mehdi Edno will get to know beautician Ruchee Gurung and semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde and model Ella Thomas completed the line-up.

The Love Island drama started almost instantly as Maya Jama headed back into the villa on the first night to drop a bombshell in the form of 25 year old Zachariah from London.

The stunning host asked the villa: "Are you happy or could you be happier? I have the ultimate dare for you…", she then dared those not happy in their couples to step foward.

Iskanders Ruchee and Jess stepped forward, leaving their partners looking awkward over the "brutal" twist.

Explaining their reasons, the girls admitted that the chemistry was missing with their boys – to which the male Islanders insisted there was no hard feelings.

Maya then introduced the bombshell before explaining the dare the Islanders had played with Jess and Ruchee stepping forward.

She added: "In 24 hours, the power will be in your hands… you'll get to steal anyone of these girls in front of you – not just the girls who have stepped forward.

"That will leave one boy single and vulnerable… I will see you all very soon, bye!

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
