Amanda Holden has torn into Holly Willoughby’s statement form This Morning addressing Phillip Schofield’s explosive exit.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, famously fell out with Phillip, 61, after he allegedly blocked her from hosting This Morning with him while Holly was in Australia filming I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! in 2018.

She then appeared to celebrate Schofe’s shock exit from This Morning last month and previously named him as one of the three things she wouldn’t want to find in her house (alongside spiders and flies).

After Holly asked This Morning viewers ‘are you OK?’ opening Monday’s programme before hitting out at her former co-host, Amanda seized the chance to join so many others in mocking the bizarre statement.

Posting a video on Instagram of herself in a white dress similar to Holly’s , clasping her hands and asking her followers: ‘Hello, it is Tuesday. Are you OK?’

She also had another pop at Holly during her Heart breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston, 52.

Holly Willoughby’s statement in full as she returns to This Morning after Phillip Schofield exit

‘Hi there, good morning. Josie, thank you for being here. Right, deep breath. Firstly, are you ok? I hope so. It feels very strange indeed sitting here without Phil.

‘I imagine that you might have been feeling a lot like I have – shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what’s been going on and full of questions.

‘You me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process, and it’s equally hard to see the toll that it’s taken on their own mental health.

‘I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal, for the health and wellbeing of everyone.

‘I hope that we start this new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us, we can find strength in each other.

‘From my heart, can I just say thank you for all of your kind messages and thank you for being here this morning. Myself, Josie, Dermot, Alison, Craig and every single person that works on this show will continue to work hard every single day to bring you this show that we love.’

Following the BGT final on Sunday night, Amanda arrived to her show the next day deeply hungover.

When Jamie asked how she was feeling, she said: ‘I got home, got straight into bed with my dog and cat. I got up, cooked the tea and went back to bed again at 8.

‘I did that thing where you wake up at 2 and you have to talk yourself back into going to sleep.’

Jamie said to another guest ‘we’re worried about your well-being’ before Amanda howled: ‘I’m OK people, are you OK?’

Holly told This Morning viewers she was shaken, let down and troubled’ by her former co-host’s actions after he admitted to lying about an affair with a younger colleague.

Phil said his TV career was over in an interview with BBC last week and that that he contemplated suicide.

Holly is said to have pledged she will never talk about him publicly again.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
