Tess Daly has revealed she cried when she watched her hubby Vernon Kay make his debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday 15 November.
Strictly Come Dancing star Tess, 51, shared her pride over her hubby Vernon, 46, as he entered Gwrych Castle in north Wales.
Proud wife Tess, who recently opened up on changing her name, posted a photo of her hubby on the TV on her Instagram story on Sunday evening and made the sweet admission as she wrote on top: “I was so excited tonight watching @vernonkay on @imacelebrity I took a picture of the TV!
“What a great show it was; laughed and cried already!”

She also praised the show’s hosts Ant and Dec as she added: “And @antanddec brilliant fun” followed by a clapping emoji.
Strictly co-host Tess also shared a rare photo of the couple, who reconnected in lockdown following Vernon’s sexting scandal, with their two stunning daughters Phoebe and Amber to wish Vernon good luck in the castle.
The gorgeous family black and white snap shows the family grinning and looking at the camera.
In the caption, Tess wrote a tribute to her hubby, who she married in 2003.
Tess sent a message to her husband as she wrote: “GOOD LUCK VERNON” surrounded by red heart emojis.
She continued: “After not being able to see him for what feels like AGES me & the girls can’t wait to watch Vern on tonight’s first @imacelebrity and see how he fares in the Castle!
“We love you SO much and we miss you TONS! Go #teamVernon #imaceleb All our love Tess Phoebe & Amber XXX”.
In the picture, Phoebe and Amber – who we rarely see – look the spitting image of their gorgeous mum, with many commenting on how beautiful the pair are.

Vernon has joined the likes of Mo Farrah, Shane Ritchie and Bev Callard on this year's I'm A Celebrity, which, thanks to COVID travel restrictions, is being hosted in Wales for the first time.
And it has not been an easy start for the famous faces, with them already having had to abseil down the side of a cliff. Particularly for Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, who was sick at the thought of it.
