Shocking video shows the rapper painfully toppling off the stage in Tampa, Florida — just 30 seconds into his performance.
The 48-year-old star, real name Michael Tyler, was shown leaping onto a box onstage, falling back onto his heels and then tumbling into the audience.
He tried to continue Thursday night’s show for another 45 minutes, sitting on the edge of stage while complaining about the pain, according to concert-goers.
“Man, I need an ambulance,” he said, according to TMZ, before finally pulling the plug less than halfway through the planned show.
He later showed a large supporter on his right leg as well as crutches and a wheelchair as he jokingly sang Destiny’s Child hit “Survivor” in an Instagram video vowing to continue his tour.
“It’s gonna take a little more than that,” he said, revealing he badly “bent” the leg and there was no serious injury such as a break or tear.
