Woman owns over £2,800 worth of sex toys which help her orgasm when ‘nothing else would’

Nadia Bokody – who has over 49.1k followers on Instagram – opened up about her distress in a personal essay for Mamamia earlier this week.

She revealed how she lost her ability to orgasm after she started a course of antidepressants two years ago.

The Australian sex columnist “felt utterly broken” and admitted she tried using more lube to help ease matters.

In the post, Nadia wrote: “I’d tried using more lube, dedicating more time to foreplay and paying extra attention to my clit but nothing worked. Even my favourite porn couldn’t get me off.”

Nadia was frustrated by the effect it was having on her sex life and had “become accustomed” to the release which follows an orgasm.

Luckily, the Aussie’s boyfriend understood her frustration and suggested they use her sex toys to help her get back in the game.

She then confessed she spent an eye-watering £2,800 on her sex toy collection – which includes a £110 crystal dildo.

The writer said: “Why not nourish our sexuality and invest in a product guaranteed to bring us arguably more pleasure and mental health benefits than any house, car, or fancy dinner ever could?”

The sex writer only realised it was stuck inside her after going to the loo.

Thankfully, Nadia didn’t fall pregnant after the blunder and it has encouraged her to be more vigilant with contraception.

She exclaimed: “Thank God I was not pregnant. I had learned my lesson after that.

“I tell you what, I’ve never been so careful in my life since that day with using condoms and having sex.”
