A MUM has revealed how she tried to make her daughter proud during her school sports day – but ended up mooning the crowd.

Katie Hannaford, 36, was left red-faced after her eight-year-old convinced her to run in the parents' race last week.

Shortly after the whistle blew, keen Katie tripped up and went head-over-heels on the grass in hilarious footage shared online.

Luckily, homeware company owner Katie saw the funny side – describing her trip as "hilarious".

She said: "I'm not sporty at all, but [my daughter] kept begging me.
